What you MIGHT have
thought was besides the point. Dont get cocky you fucks. YOU! You with
yer IQ and yer RUMORS!!!! YOU!!! RIP ROCK RAUNCH are NOT dead,
merly transformed. The ever enduring Mike (Guitar) and Jason (vocals) were
looking to rebuild and where better to look than the ranks of Waco A Go
Go. After all, most Waco members have doubled in at least two bands at
any given time with the most notable being The Ruffians (which some would
describe as Waco A Go Gos "FEAR fetish"). Whereas band whores such as "The
Gooch" (drums for both Waco and RipRR) and Black Jack (Guitar in Waco,
Bassist in RipRR) are rarely tolerated in SOME bands, its people like this
who can "multi-task" and be in several bands at once which truely make
a scene stand out. Dont believe that? Check out The DangerHouse compilations....
So Blackjack and Gooch are now full-fledged members of Rip Rock Raunch.
Its more official than just "word" cause theyre playing shows and all.
Heres a "Blitzkrieger" with Rip Rock Raunch:
NS: Are you
just picking up where you left off with the other rythmn section or have
you been writing all new songs with the new one?
M (Mike, Vocals,
guitar Rip Rock Raunch): Yeah. I wrote all the music. Its all mine. We
do have allot more new songs were bringing out and we plan on doing some
recording soon and hopefully get a CD out by December.
NS: Allright!
Whats it going to be called? Any working titles?
M: "Americans
Live Dangerous" EP. Its going to be about eight songs.
NS: More like
a mini-LP huh?
M: Yeah.
NS: How you
like Rip Rock and Raunch Gooch?
G(Gooch, Drums):
Good.
NS: Elaborate
on that if you will.
G: Its good
most of the time.
NS: You eat
losts of Whoppers?
G: No, cheeseburgers
and spicy chicken crisp!
NS: Word on
the street is that Rip Rock and Raunch played too long at a "Sleaze Alley"
show, where they have to be done by Midnight, and you cut into other bands
times. What do you have to say about that?
M: We played
a short set. I'd say it was about 35 Minutes. WAAAAA!.....
